Stene Jacobs
Stene joined Apollon in December 2020 as Head of Corporate Development. He started his career in the Navy where he qualified as a South African Navy Diver in 1992. After leaving the Navy he started a long career spanning 20 years in Real Estate and had the good fortune to acquire a wide range of expertise in Property Development, Real Estate Finance, Debt and Equity structuring and Corporate Finance.
He brings substantial Director level operational experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial sectors where he has a strong track record in assisting new ‘start-ups’ implement successful strategic growth plans across various sectors. His career included the delivery of multiple projects for Standard Bank premises, as an independent consultant for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China – at the time a Forbes no.1 Company (2013)
